Hello!
My name is Charlene and I am an adult female domestic shorthair cat with silky soft black fur and gold-green eyes.
I have a few white hairs on my tummy, chest and at the end of my fluffy tail.
My original owner had to leave me behind when they moved out of the country, so I am now living with my foster family and waiting to be adopted.
I love to play, especially with a cat wand and I have a lot of fun chasing things.
I like watching videos on TV, especially the bird channels on YouTube!
I like to be where my foster parents are, following them from room to room.
I’m very affectionate, sharing head bumps, rubbing up against your legs and enjoying snuggles and petting.
I come when called and love to sit beside my foster mom on the sofa and sleep on the bed at night.
I’m a little shy at first and observe new people from a safe spot, but I soon warm up to them.
Loud noises really get my attention, so I prefer a quiet environment.
I’m fine being left alone during the day but like it when my people come home. I’ve been an only cat for most of my life.
I love to talk to people and happily chirp and meow, especially at mealtime.
I have a great appetite and enjoy both dry and wet food.
I look after my coat and always use the litter box.
I am ready to go to my forever home and would love to be the only pet in the family, giving you all my love and attention.
