Meet Patch, an adorable orange and white adult male cat who will steal your heart.
Patch was a stray until he was caught in September 2025.
The veterinarian who examined him decided Patch needed to have his right eye removed.
Patch has adapted very well to life with one eye.
Patch has come a long way since going to his foster home.
While he was very timid and skittish to begin with, he no longer hides and now asks for pets and belly rubs.
When he’s had enough affection he takes a break, but before long he is back and asking for more.
Patch is inquisitive and has started to become more playful, but he does not like loud or sudden noises.
He is not overly talkative and is fine when left alone at home for a few hours.
Mealtimes are highlights for Patch, and he comes running when his foster dad shakes the food container.
He has a good appetite and always uses his litter box.
He grooms himself and loves it when his foster dad combs his fur.
There are no other pets or children in Patch’s foster home, so it is unknown how he would react to them.
Patch is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go to a forever home that will give this sweet boy the patience, love and attention he deserves.
A note from Patch’s foster dad: “I am blown away by how well Patch is doing and how far he has come in the few weeks I’ve had him.
He is warming up more and more every day. He is a very sweet and docile guy who would do best in a quiet, low-energy environment.”
Patch would do best in a quiet home that will show him patience and love as he adapts from being a stray to being a pet.
