Phoenix is a soft, orange-furred gentleman from the North Bay area who’s settling in beautifully with his foster family.
Just one year old, Phoenix is a laid-back and easy-going cat with a curious streak and a big love for playtime.
Phoenix’s absolute favourite activity is chasing wand toys.
The moment he sees one, he’s ready to leap, run, and zoom around the room with full focus—he takes his play very seriously!
After a good play session, Phoenix is happy to accept some pats, especially as he continues to grow more comfortable with affection.
He occasionally allows his foster family to pick him up and scratch his ears while he’s looking out a window.
He lets you know when he is not in the mood for being carried by squirming away kindly, no hurt feelings or fingers.
This clever boy likes to start his day by exploring new spaces and “patrolling” the foster home, peeking into every closet and room he can access.
He’s not one to scratch furniture (or even his post), but he enjoys batting his ribbons around on the scratching stand.
His foster mom is very impressed with his neat litter box habits.
Phoenix isn’t a lap cat—yet—but he enjoys hanging out in the same room as his foster parents and his fellow feline friends.
He plays well with his co-fosters, and enjoys a good game of zoomies with the other cats when they’re both in the mood.
When he’s not playing, Phoenix can be found perched in a window, bird-watching and soaking up the view.
His soft, stunning orange coat makes him as beautiful to look at as he is to pet—and with each new day, he’s allowing more love and closeness from his foster family.
Phoenix would be happiest adopted into a home with a cat friend
Maybe his new friend Butterscotch – or a cat he hasn’t met yet who already lives with you.
Phoenix is lovely with every cat he has met and looks forward to shared playtime and window gazing.
