Hello! My name is Thackeray, and I am a gorgeous three-month-old male domestic shorthair kitten with orange fur, a white bib and golden eyes.
I live in a foster home with my foster parents, their daughter and my beloved kitten friend Sharpe. I am very attached to Sharpe, and my foster parents call me his little shadow. We love running around and playing together, and I really look up to him.
I am a little shy and need some time to warm up to people. Once I do, I am affectionate and love to be petted. I am very friendly, but would rather sit on your lap than be picked up and held. I like to be involved in what’s going on in the house and usually follow Sharpe’s lead. We are fine together at home when our foster family goes out.
I eat well and always use my litter box. I like cats and kids, but have never lived with a dog.
I am vaccinated, neutered, and ready to go to my forever home. If you are looking for a friendly, quiet and loving kitten, I could be your perfect companion. I need to be in a home with another kitten, and being adopted with Sharpe would be a dream come true.
A note from Thackeray’s foster mom’s daughter: “Thackeray is a little shy, but once he gets to know you, he is very friendly and playful. He adores Sharp,e and it would be great if they could be adopted together.”
Thackeray needs to be adopted with another kitten, ideally his best friend, Sharpe.
This cat needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at home.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
