Meet Kimchi, the independent and playful black beauty who’s ready to find her perfect home!
Kimchi came to Abbey Cats from a shelter north of the city and is currently being fostered with her brother Wasabi and a few other kitty friends.
Kimchi is a sweet girl with a strong independent streak.
She’s not really into cuddling and might only tolerate being held for a bit before she’s ready to have her own space again. Sometimes she’ll purr and enjoy the attention, but other times she prefers to be left alone.
Don’t worry, though—this doesn’t mean she’s not affectionate; she just values her “me time.”
Despite her independent nature, Kimchi is very playful and absolutely loves spending time by the window or chasing after all kinds of toys.
She’s never been aggressive, even when she’s not in the mood for affection, so she’s a gentle soul who knows how to set her boundaries.
Kimchi can be a little shy at first, so she’ll need a bit of patience during her first week or two in a new home.
But once she settles in, you’ll see her true personality shine.
She gets along well with other cats, especially her brother Wasabi, and would love to be adopted with him.
If Wasabi isn’t an option, she’d also do well with her foster mates, Plum or Emmy.
She’s flexible and would be okay being adopted on her own or with another cat-friendly companion.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and independent kitty who knows what she wants, Kimchi is the one for you.
She’s ready to bring a mix of fun and tranquility into her new home!
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company
